The Lafayette Escadrille Memorial Cemetery is located in Marnes-la-Coquette in the northwestern corner of the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, a large park, about 12 miles west of the center of Paris.
The memorial cemetery is open to the public daily, and is located inside the gates of Domaine National de Saint-Cloud. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. November through February; 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during September, October, March and April; 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. May through August. On December 24th and 31st, the site closes at 6:00 p.m. Due to staffing, crypt tours are only available Monday through Friday with a required minimum of five people. Contact the cemetery for availability.
The memorial cemetery can be accessed by car via Autoroute 13 towards Rouen. From Paris, take Autoroute 13 towards Rouen. Take Exit 5 (direction Vaucresson/La Celle-Saint-Cloud). Turn right on D182 (Boulevard de Jardy) and continue for 600m. At the traffic circle, turn right on D907 (Boulevard de la République) and continue for 1.5km. [[Boulevard de la République becomes Boulevard Raymond Poincaré]] Your destination will be on the right.
The memorial cemetery can be accessed by suburban train. Trains depart every 20 minutes from Paris (Gare de Paris-Saint-Lazare) to the Garches / Marnes-la-Coquette station. The gate to the memorial cemetery is across the street from 5 Boulevard Raymond Poincaré, Garches near the #360 Bus Stop Hôpital de Garches.
