Ceremony preparations at Normandy American Cemetery

Staff at Normandy American Cemetery is actively involved in the preparations for the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings Ceremony of June 6. Please note that in the days leading to the event:

  • access to the overlook (orientation table) will be closed due to renovation works until the afternoon of June 6, 2019.
  • the cemetery live webcam will temporarily not stream due to ceremony preparations; live is plannted to resume several days after the commemorations.
  • access to the graves will be restricted for both maintenance and ceremony preparations and is planned to re-open several days after the commemorations.

The Normandy American Cemetery Visitor Center re-opened on June 1.

The cemetery remains open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Please direct all queries pertaining to the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings and the June 6 ceremony to dday75@abmc.gov and all other queries to the cemetery staff at normandy@abmc.gov.
