Wreath Laying at West Coast Memorial

As part of the commemoration for the 75th anniversary of the Bataan Death March, there was a wreath laying at the West Coast Memorial in the Presidio on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Organized by the Bataan Legacy Historical Society in partnership with the Presidio Trust, the National Park Service, American Battle Monuments Commission and Fil-Am Racing, the commemorative events started with the Bataan Legacy 7.5K Valor Run, followed by the wreath laying and then a commemorative program that started with a parade on the Presidio Grounds by Bay Area High School ROTC cadets led by Master Sargeant Stanley Kamiya of the 91st Division.

Understanding Sacrifice participant Jose Cumagun represented ABMC during a wreath-laying ceremony at the West Coast Memorial to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Bataan Death March.
